IMPOUND AUCTION REGISTRATION:
Registration is required to bid. Registrants must show a valid government issued ID to register. Identification will be confirmed at time of payment or your bid will be void. Buyers must be 18 years of age or older. If want to purchase a vehicle under a business name, you must produce a valid NYS Tax ID Card showing your Tax ID # at registration. You can only register in person at the Suffolk County Police Impound Facility 100 Old Country Road, Westhampton, N.Y. 11977 During the Vehicle Previews. Vehicle previews and registration are held on the Thursday and Friday before the auction from 9AM – 4PM and on the Saturday of the action from 8AM - 9AM. Bidding starts promptly at 9:00 AM

Auction held rain or shine indoors on Saturday Dec. 7th 2024 -
Bidding starts at 9:00 am with a short preview before the auction from 8:00am - 9:00am

ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS. PLEASE REVIEW THE AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR REQUIREMENTS AND PAYMENT INFORMATION.
ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD ON A BILL OF SALE NAMING THE BUYER. BILL OF SALE WILL GET THE BUYER A TITLE IN NEW YORK STATE. The BILL OF SALE is NOT TRANSFERABLE. There is a fee of $20 for a replacement Bill of Sale should Buyer lose the original.
IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SUFFOLK COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT TO LIST OR NOTIFY THE BUYER OF ANY EXISTING LIENS THAT MAY BE LISTED ON THE TITLE YOU RECEIVE FROM NYS DMV. ALL PREVIOUS OWNERS AND LIENHOLDERS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED AND GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO CLAIM THEIR VEHICLE WHERE APPLICABLE.
BUYERS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT MOTOR VEHICLE DEPARTMENTS IN OTHER STATES MAY HAVE DIFFERENT RULES FOR TITLING A VEHICLE. IT IS THE BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE IF THE AUCTION BILL OF SALE IS ACCEPTABLE IN ANOTHER STATE AS NO OTHER DOCUMENTATION WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF SALE.
