Request A Report

In an effort to provide the public and insurance companies with the ability to obtain accurate and affordable crash reports as quickly as possible, our crash reports are now available for purchase online. All online requests for crash reports can be made at BuyCrash.com.

Reports are available 7 to 10 business days from date of the incident.

BuyCrash.com charges a convenience fee for this service which is added to the cost of the report. Involved parties that do not wish to pay the convenience fee can still come to the Suffolk County Police Headquarters at 30 Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank, NY 11980 and pay only the cost of the report.

To obtain a copy of the crash report online, you will need to answer at least two of the following questions:

  • What is a driver's license number involved in the crash?
  • What is a license plate number of a vehicle involved in the crash?
  • What is a date of birth involved in the crash (mm/dd/yyyy)?
