Data for violent and property crime categories is based on NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) guidelines. Data does not represent total crimes for the police district.

* Figures are preliminary and subject to further analysis and revision. Data sources, refresh rates, and reporting intervals vary per dashboard. Data is sourced from several Department databases. Although certainty in statistical reporting is always our goal, these figures represent a snapshot of those databases at the time the system updated the dashboard. Therefore, discrepancies between the posted data and the dashboards can occur if datasets are extracted and compared at different time intervals. Interactions between the business intelligence software powering the dashboards and the database system interface can also produce discrepancies since the dashboards update at varying intervals.

Data is updated quarterly within 45 days following the end of each quarter.
