On October 2, 2023, the Department began to collect Pedestrian Stop data in accordance with the Final Class Action Settlement of Plaintiffs 1-21 et al, v. County. This dashboard reflects the pedestrian stop data collected from Q4 2023 forward, in an effort to present data in a linear, user-friendly, and intuitive interface for the public, in addition to sharing the raw data, available here. As with all dashboards, these figures are preliminary and subject to further analysis and revision. Data sources, refresh rates, and reporting intervals vary per dashboard. Data is sourced from several Department databases. Although certainty in statistical reporting is always our goal, these figures represent a snapshot of those databases at the time the system updated the dashboard. Therefore, discrepancies between the posted data and the dashboards can occur if datasets are extracted and compared at different time intervals. Interactions between the business intelligence software powering the dashboards and the database system interface can also produce discrepancies since the dashboards update at varying intervals.
