Emergency Services

The Emergency Service Section consists of specially trained officers who engage in both high-risk and highly technical operations.

These officers are called upon to preform extrications from vehicles and industrial accidents. They respond to bomb threats, hazardous materials incidents, search warrant executions and situations requiring special weapons and tactics.

They assist the department’s Patrol and Detective Divisions as well as associated agencies outside our police jurisdiction. The Emergency Service Section confronts and ultimately resolves a wide range of challenges from a diverse and informed perspective.
