PLEASE BE ADVISED: The Applicant Investigation Section uses e-mail and regular first class U.S. mail service to correspond with police officer candidates. A large majority of these correspondences are time sensitive. It is recommended that candidates and applicants regularly check both their e-mail and mail box for such correspondence. Also, it is IMPERATIVE that police officer candidates promptly advise both Suffolk County Civil Service and the Applicant Investigation Section of all address changes or changes to your primary e-mail address. Failure to do so could result in a police officer candidate or applicant to miss important correspondence or information.
