Two Women Arrested During Massage Parlor Raid

Suffolk County Police arrested two people during a massage parlor raid in Huntington today.

In response to community complaints, Second Precinct Crime Section Officers, detectives from the Human Trafficking Investigations Unit and Asset Forfeiture Unit in conjunction with the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Ordinance Inspectors, conducted an investigation and executed a search warrant at Jericho Foot Spa, located at 1152 E. Jericho Turnpike.

The following people were arrested:

  • Li Zhong, 47, of Astoria, was charged with Promoting Prostitution 3rd Degree, a felony, Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a felony and Prostitution.  She will be held overnight and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 6.
  • Liping Wang, 49, of Flushing, was charged with two counts of Unauthorized Practice of a Profession and two counts of Prostitution. She was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and will be arraigned on a later date.

The Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Code Enforcement Inspectors issued several violations.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
