Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting of a teen in West Babylon last night.

A 911 caller reported a person was shot in front of 1234 11 St. during a party at 11:17 p.m. When police arrived, they found a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Detectives believe the victim was targeted. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
