Wednesday, August 6, 2025

Suffolk County Police today arrested two people during a massage parlor raid in Mount Sinai.

In response to numerous community complaints, Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal and Town Inspector, conducted an investigation into Lee Spa, located at 331-12 Route 25A, and arrested two employees.

Xiaohong Wang, 51, and Meiqin Huang, 54, both of Flushing, were charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Class E felony.

The Town of Brookhaven issued multiple violations to the business. Wang and Huang were both issued Desk Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
